Coop Reno
Coop Reno is a consumer cooperative that has been operating in the large-scale retail sector for over thirty years. It is present in Emilia-Romagna and Veneto with 48 shops, located in the provinces of Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna, Modena, Rovigo and Padua.
Given this dutiful premise, we are here to tell you about Extreme Printing’s involvement in an extraordinary project, of an extremely innovative nature, launched in 2019 and entrusted to Politecnica and Fabrica, for the construction of the new Coop Reno Management Centre, on an area of around 20,500 square metres, in the municipality of Poggio Piccolo (BO).
The fundamental pillars that guided the drafting of the architectural and engineering design were respect for the territory and green areas, together with an organisation of spaces according to the principles of aggregation and sharing.
All this has been studied down to the smallest detail, with a view to limiting environmental impact, also thanks to solar and photovoltaic systems, in order to enhance the landscape aspects of the agricultural plain in which the complex stands, consisting of several buildings, each with different economic-organisational functions.
And it is precisely in this setting, with its extremely green and futuristic character, that we at Extreme Printing, thanks to our technical expertise and many years of experience in the interior decoration sector, were hired to customise some of the interior areas.
The entire graphic project was entirely designed by Ale Giorgini, an internationally renowned illustrator who, thanks to his astonishing creativity, created all the artwork by means of which we were able to decorate the spaces of this inspirational headquarters.
The resulting graphics were printed, in our production facility, using adhesive materials, selected by our experts after a careful analysis of the situation, suitable for covering different types of surfaces, such as walls and windows.
In more detail, at ‘TENGOidee the Innovation and Research Centre, we took care of the application of wall stickers on the walls and ceiling of the staircase tour, thus recreating a colourful and evocative tunnel leading to the upper floor. We then moved to the 1st floor to proceed with the installation of the frosted decals on the surface of the coworking rooms’ windows.
At ‘TENGOtesta il Centro Direzionale’, on the other hand, we worked on the installation of four wall infographics, one for each floor, on the walls adjacent to the central scenic staircase that characterises the building. We then completed the work by decorating the windows of the meeting room and offices on the 2nd floor.
An articulated project, with many variables, which allowed us to bring into play our skills both on the technical-operational front and on the organisational front, and which demonstrated our ability to manage even complex situations such as this.
